It is just amazing how lucky those people are.., to have this wonderful weather all year round. You really need a sunscreen at Frangokastello in April. Oasis Hotel is all the peace someone will ever need. Recommended!

As usual we were coming in May but this 2010 we were forced to reserve in April. Unfortunately we are not planing lazy afternoons on the beach because we believe the water is still cold and we thought about walking- hiking around. In spite of nice Oasis website I cannot see any hiking recommendations or instructions. We were around Imbros Gorge previous time but we didn't have a proper shoes to hike. I wonder if it's possible to pass Imbros Gorge in April- because of waters? It would be very nice if someone could advice us. Thanks in advance. (we are 60yrs old!)

We do not have words to describe the peace we have been experiencing in Frangokastello and Oasis 2009.. We are desperately waiting May to come again. I want every flower as it was and my husband his "romantic" Lamb chops on the grill. We bought new camera especially for the beaches and Castle. Best regards and see you in few months on Crete!!
